@all This morning I created repos on Github and have pushed the first batch of plugins. When you get some spare time, here are some notes to help you get up and running.
Octoshop v3 requires the User and Location plugins by RainLab. Please install those first.
Create a folder called
/plugins and head over to Octoshop on Github where you'll find the repos. For simplicity's sake, clone all the plugins. The theme repository hasn't yet been mirrored and can safely be ignored.
WARNING! HERE BE DRAGONS!
Do not install these plugins alongside an older version of Octoshop. Before it is released, I'll be writing special upgrade migrations/helpers. Until that happens, a clean install is highly recommended.
Your plugins folder should now look something like this:
│ └── demo
│ ├── addressbook
│ ├── categories
│ ├── checkout
│ ├── core
│ └── stock
When you're done, head back to the root folder (the one with modules/plugins/themes folders inside) and run
php artisan october:up to run all the migrations.
That's it! From here on out it's like translating any other plugin. Please submit pull requests to the
Thanks for helping to translate Octoshop! Once the first batch of plugins are released I can finish off the first few paid plugins. If you're interested in helping to translate those as well, let me know.
